Her area of speciality and true passion lies with treating social communication challenges. Mrs. Rosenthal has a strong background in utilizing targeted social communication and self-regulation curriculums. She incorporates these strategies and tools into therapy sessions and has experience providing staff and parent training in order to promote carryover and generalization of taught skills.
Every client is unique. I take time to understand each individual’s strengths, challenges, interests, cultural background, and communication style before selecting goals. In my therapeutic opinion, therapy is never “one-size-fits-all.” Instead, goals are personalized and developed collaboratively, with respect for the whole person—not just isolated skills.
I am proud to provide neurodiversity-affirming therapy. Neurodivergent clients are welcomed, valued, and supported at Riding the Wave Center. I do not aim to change who a client is or force them to mask their natural communication style. Rather, I build upon existing strengths, honor differences in how people think and communicate, and teach flexible strategies that empower clients to navigate social situations in ways that feel safe, respectful, and effective for them.
In therapy, I support children, teens, and adults in building skills that help them connect with others in ways that feel meaningful, comfortable, and authentic to them. My goal is to help clients develop confidence, self-understanding, and practical tools they can use across real-life situations–while always respecting individuality and neurodivergence.
Consistent with the Federal "No Surprises Act," clients not using insurance have the right to receive a "Good Faith Estimate" providing you with an estimate cost of therapy. Click here to learn more about the "No Surprises Act."
